A major overhaul will be included in the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, with a new camera section that takes up the top third of the device’s rear.

The new A19 Pro CPU, significant camera improvements, and a return to an aluminum frame for improved heat dissipation will further boost performance in the Pro variants. For the first time, ProMotion functionality and a bigger 6.3-inch screen will be added to the base iPhone 17.
The iPhone 17 Air
The iPhone 17 Air, an incredibly thin gadget that measures only 5.5 millimeters, is the most anticipated new model. It will have the A19 chipset and ProMotion display, but its svelte design will come at the expense of battery life and a single back camera. Due to its thin design, the iPhone 17 Air does not have a physical SIM card port, hence eSIMs must be used.
The success of the iPhone 17 Air, which is priced between the base and Pro models, will rely on whether or not buyers value form factor more than photographic capabilities and battery life. The purpose of these improvements is to compete with other wearable brands, such as Garmin. With a brighter screen and the same style as its predecessor, the Apple Watch Series 11 will be a more understated improvement. Features to assist detect symptoms of moderate to severe sleep apnea were introduced in the Apple Watch earlier this year. A potentially dangerous disorder known as sleep apnea occurs when breathing repeatedly stops while you’re asleep. The Apple Watch SE, the company’s less expensive model, is expected to gain a quicker processor and an upgraded screen, further solidifying its position as a kid-friendly smartphone substitute.
Identification of hypertension
More substantial additions, such as the detection of hypertension, have been planned for years but have encountered technical and regulatory obstacles. Next year, Apple intends to launch a premium Health+ service that includes an AI health agent.
The Apple Watch SE
Apple’s oldest and least expensive watch is $249. The Apple Watch SE, which resembles the models from 2020 before the shift to larger screens, is likely to be updated with a quicker CPU and newer screens. Apple has been pushing this gadget as a less expensive smartphone substitute for younger children in an effort to compete with companies like Fitbit.
The Pro 3 AirPods
At the event, the first update in three years, the AirPods Pro 3, is anticipated to be presented. Smaller charging cases, a potential heart rate monitor, and a new live translation software capability are some of the main new features. This enhances the translation features that were added in iOS 26. In accordance with the modifications made to the lower-end AirPods 4 series last year, the most recent versions tested in Cupertino have improved charging cases that are noticeably smaller and have a new pairing mechanism.
Conversations that are live translated
A significant new software feature that will enable AirPods to translate conversations in real time is being planned by Apple. This will expand upon the translation capabilities that Apple Intelligence brought to the iPhone and iPad in iOS 26 and iPadOS 26. Much more is to follow.
